Birth Your Own Shamanic Medicine Drum

Join Leisa for a day of self-discovery as you birth your own crystal infused sacred medicine drum.
My hides are prepared in ceremony and surprisingly, the spirit of the animal picks you, the new custodian. The sacred animal and its spirit is honoured through deep Shamanic Ceremony and the infusion of crystals, love and gratitude. We spend the day not only birthing the creation of your new drum but we connect with our ancestors, the crystal devas and the animal kingdom in ceremony. Most importantly, we journey with the spirit of the animal hide that was sacrificed for us to be able to create this magickal and powerful healing tool.
The drum connects us back to ourselves, the rhythm of our own heartbeat and the heartbeat of Mother Earth. When we play or hear the beating of the drum it guides us back to ourselves and the sacred place of the womb of the Mother - the ultimate place where we connect, heal, balance and nurture ourselves.
Our 15" hoops are made in Australia and our hides are ethically and sustainably sourced. They are prepared in Australia and the upmost care is taken to ensure their suitability. I usually have deer, goat and kangaroo hides. Although these animals have been sacrificed for one reason or another, most I do not condone, I truly believe that they come to me to be healed and for their spirit to live on with you for your healing (and that of anyone that you play it for). I do not make vegan drums.
Investment: $400. A deposit of $100 is required to secure your place.

Time: 10am to approximately 4pm

Terms and Conditions:
- You can opt to pay a deposit when you register. I will be in touch to issue an invoice for the remaining balance.
- Registrations will be taken up until 3 weeks prior to the commencement of the course. Full ticket price must be paid a week prior to the course.
- Workshop fees are NOT refundable due to the high cost of the materials.
- In the event that the workshop has to be postponed or you are unable to attend the original registration date, a rescheduled date will be provided at the earliest convenience and monies transferred over. Refunds will NOT be issued - I will work with you to find a suitable date. If you choose not to commit to a date you forgo your workshop fee. Current pricing will be honoured for 12 months only. Individual circumstances will be considered.
Learn to journey and play your drum
Sunday 15th October
Not many people teach people how to play their drum after they make it, and I did not either in the past. What I see though is too many drums propped in the corner and the owner too scared to play it, in fear of getting it wrong. There is no wrong, really. Learning how to journey however is a skill and one that can easily be learned.
The drum is thought to have been the first healing tool used by ancient and traditional medicine women and men around the world. I will guide you through a variety of journeys that you can use at home for yourself and others, and show you a number of ways it can be used for healing and ceremony.
Investment - $97. If you join the drum making day or you have made your drum with me, the cost of the day is only $50

All welcome regardless of where you made or purchased your animal skin or vegan drum.
You do need a drum to join.
